The Snell SA2025 helmet rating certifies a helmet for use in competitive auto racing and is the most common here in the USA. Whether you are looking for a dirt track helmet or a car racing helmet for your first track day, you will likely need a SA2025 Rated helmet. ^(We also carry FIA8859 Rated helmets for use in international competitions.) In any racing where fire is a concern, only a Snell SA2025, SFI24.1, or FIA helmet should be used. For open kart racing without a multipoint harness the following helmet ratings maybe used: Snell M2025, Snell K2025, or Snell CMR2016.
