Frequently Asked Questions


To help answer any questions you may have while shopping at RacingDirect.com, we have gathered a list of answers to our customers' most frequently asked questions. Answers to most questions can be found here. If you don't see an answer here, please don't hesitate to contact us!







What is the status of my order?
We will email tracking information to you as soon your order is shipped out. We will contact you if your order has an issue or if an item may arrive outside of the delivery window you selected on checkout.

Please keep an eye on your email inbox (and spam folder!) for any messages from us.

You may also check the status of your orders by logging in to your account. If you opted to checkout as 'guest', you can register for an account using the same email address you used for you order. This will allow you to login and see your account information and order status.


Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico?
Yes! Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico still ship free!
However, they may not arrive within stated the delivery window. If you need expedited shipping to one off these areas, please Contact us.

Orders to Puerto Rico will need to Contact us before placing an order as these orders require manual processing.


Do you ship to PO Boxes or to APO/FPO addresses?
Yes! Orders shipped to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses still ship free! However, they may not arrive within stated the delivery window. Some items may have to be transferred to another location in order to be shipped out via USPS. This may add several days to the shipping time. Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to offer international shipping. We can only ship to the United States (including AK/HI/PR.)

We *are* able to ship to freight forwarders. If you need help processing such an order please contact us and we will help set it up.


Is overnight delivery available?
Often we can ship out for next day delivery, but we recommend you contact us before placing the order to ensure the items are available for immediate shipping. We will get back to you asap!


How long will shipping take?
Orders may ship from several locations across the country or from a single location. Other orders may have to be shipped from different warehouses to us to be repackaged into a single shipment. As such, our order fulfillment system is not based off of a single shipping method, but instead allows you to select the time frame you need the order to arrive within. This allows us to guarantee shipment arrival dates from anywhere in the US.


Can I pick up my order?
Yes! You can pick up your order at our Huntsville, AL office.

Please select the "Local Pickup" shipping option when checking out and we will contact you to arrange it.

Usually, we will have your order ready to pick up by the next business day, but some items may require additional time. We will contact you in any case to work out the pickup and advise of any issues.



What forms of payment do you accept?
At this time, we process all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card. We also accept Paypal as well, including Paypal Pay-In-4 Payments.


Do you take orders over the phone?
RacingDirect.com uses a 3rd party account to process credit cards. In the interest of security, none of your actual payment information is stored on our site. Because we do not process payments directly, we are unable to accept orders over the phone.


Do you take orders via email?
Yes! Please Contact us- we would be glad to help you put together an order!



What is your Return & Exchange policy?

Simply:
Returns incur a 5% Restocking Fee.
Exchanges do not incur a restocking fee.

Timeframe:
To initiate a return or exchange contact us for an RMA # within 30 days of order receipt.

Returns:
A 5% restocking fee will be charged on returns only. We may waive this fee on unopened merchandise. There is no restocking fee on exchanges.

Exchanges:
To exchange an item please e-mail us for an RMA # and to confirm the items to be exchanged. When we receive the returned items we will ship out the new items asap!

How to Return an Order:
Step 1: Contact us for an RMA #.
Step 2: Ship the return to the address provided to you with the RMA #.
Step 3: Receive refund when the return is received and processed.

How to Exchange an Order:
Step 1: Contact us for an RMA #.
Step 2: Ship the items to be exchanged to the address provided to you with the RMA #.
Step 3: Upon receiving the shipment we will ship out the new items to you.


I need my item exchanged quickly!
We can usually accomodate a quick exchange. Just Contact us and let us know the situation and we'll let you know what the options are to get you the new item in time!

How do I change or cancel an order?
Contact us as soon as possible. We can usually make changes or cancel an order up until it ships out. Once an item ships out we will be unable to change or cancel it.
