The KC7-CMR is an ultra-lightweight youth karting helmet based on the F1 proven RS7 design. The sleek, aerodynamic shell features an advanced ventilation system to maximize cooling and a Double Screen Anti-Fog (DSAF) shield to eliminate fogging. Homologated to the Snell/FIA CMR standard and certified for global competition, the KC7-CMR is designed to minimize helmet weight for karting drivers under the age of 18 and is perfect for the next generation of champions as they start their racing careers in karting.
The KC7 CMR2016 Helmet is the youth karting version of the RS7 which combines advanced F1 styling, an innovative air intake system for maximum ventilation, and leading-edge aerodynamic performance. The sleek, aerodynamic design features an advanced ventilation system with 14 intake and extraction channels to maximize cooling. The KC7 double screen anti fog (DSAF) visor and rubber gasket seal ensures water will not enter the eye opening in rain conditions.
The KC7 has been designed to work for all classes of kart racing with a sleek aerodynamic profile. An optional aerodynamic kit is also available to enhance helmet performance and provide greater stability at higher speeds. The aerodynamic kit includes a chin bar gurney which adds down force to the front of the helmet to prevent lift and a rear spoiler that improves overall helmet stability. Both items come in an unpainted clear finish and attach with included double sided adhesive that holds aggressively to the shell yet can be removed easily without damaging the helmet's finish.
Included with the optional Aero Kit: - 2050062 - KC7 Clear Chin Bar Gurney
- 2050034 - KC7 Clear Rear Spoiler
The KC7 CMR takes a SE07 2MM Double Screen Anti-Fog (DSAF) Shield which features the SV SE07 Pivot System and thumb tab on the drivers left side to allow for easy shield operation. Each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment.
The KC7 CMR is certified to the Snell/FIA CMH standard (CMR2016) developed specifically for younger racers participating in karting. This CMR2016 standard has been developed to create a protective yet lightweight helmet for use in karting. Under CIK regulations, helmets certified to the Snell-FIA CMH standard (CMR) can be used in karting and are designed for drivers under 18 years of age. The KC7 CMR uses a
carbon composite shell creating an extremely light helmet weighing 1000 grams to 1200 grams depending on size.
