A racing suit is one of the most important safety decisions you will make before hitting the racetrack. From SFI-Rated Suits with 1-Piece and 2-Piece` options to Women's and Children's fire suits, we are here to help you make sense of all the choices and safety ratings. Our site allows you to easily filter down to only certain products such as plus size race suits or to a particular brand such as K1 racing suits or ZAMP racing suits. Auto Racing Suits carry an SFI-Rating to signify the amount of fire protection they provide. Entry level suits are usually single layer and carry the SFI-1 rating (SFI 3.2A/1). We advise wearing an SFI-5 rated suit (SFI 3.2A/5) in any motorsport where the driver is using a multipoint harness and^ exit from the vehicle could be delayed. SFI-5 rated suits are made of multiple layers and provide up to 10 seconds of thermal protection (versus 3 seconds on an SFI-1 suit.) This additional amount of time can allow for escape from the vehicle before sustaining thermal injury. If you choose to purchase a single layer SFI-1 suit, we highly recommend pairing it with SFI-rated underwear for additional protection.
