The Bell RS7 Ultra helmet upgrades the RS7 with a
full carbon fiber construction for additional lightness and strength. This helmet continues to improve on the RS7's F1 heritage, integrating all of Bell's latest technical advancements matched with the newest
Snell SA2025 & FIA8859-2024 homologations.
The Bell RS7 ULTRA upgrades the RS7 platform with an extremely lightweight carbon fiber construction. It is available in two shell designs tailored to your motorsport requirements and ready for high level competition or international use.
The RS7 Ultra is available in two different shell designs:
- Standard: Works well for either Closed or Open Cockpit use
- Aero Duckbill Chin: Intended for Open Cockpit use; reducing helmet lift at high speeds
The RS7 ULTRA features an
extremely lightweight carbon fiber shell saving
over 100 grams versus the base RS7 helmet. The shell and shield design have been optimized by moving the shield pivot pointer to a lower position to improve acoustic comfort, aerodynamic behavior, and energy absorption. The liner system is all new featuring a multi-piece, multi-density high-impact custom bead absorbing liner. The helmet's redesigned ergonomic interior incorporates multiple density comfort foams and padding to ensure the best possible fit to accommodate a variety of head shapes.
Ventilation utilizes
14 air intake and extraction channels strategically placed around the shell, maximizing airflow around the head and the face. The helmet comes with
Bell's 4-piece air vent scoop's pre-installed for additional air movement at speed. The RS7 has an optical grade
Double Screen Anti Fog (DSAF) shield, with variable thickness exceeding 5mm in the field of vision, setting a new standard for clarity and fog control. The shield seal has also been improved with the introduction of a rubber gasket ensuring that air and water especially in wet conditions can't penetrate the helmet through the eyeport.
New for this version of the RS7 Ultra is the addition
Bell's SmartLock visor system. This mechanism ensures the shield is locked firmly in place during any collision while also allowing easy opening and closing via a depressible tab. This development improves safety and is being implemented across Bell's pro level helmet lineup.
The Bell RS7 Ultra retains the versatility of the RS7 lineup. Available are optional aero accessories for open cockpit use in addition to forced air intake pieces for closed cockpit racing. Also, the helmet's chin guard face piece is removable and the integrated channels offer multiple options to install integrated drinking tube systems and radio microphone systems. The RS7 Ultra also includes factory installed HANS posts as standard equipment!
