The Alpinestars Atom Suit is an auto racing suit for drivers for whom racing is no longer just a hobby. This pro-level suit carries all of the comfort and amenities one expects from Alpinestars as well as the fire protection of two layers of Nomex.
The Alpinestars Atom Suit is a professional style racing suit made of two-layers of soft touch, lightweight Nomex and certified to the SFI3.2A/5 (SFI-5) rating. It features bootcut legs with an inner leg cuff for that classic American racing flair.
The Atom bootcut suit is no stranger to comfort. A
two-layer Nomex construction ensures the suit is extremely lightweight and breathable
(especially in comparison to cheaper 3-layer options.) These soft-touch materials are extremely comfortable- making the premium construction obvious as soon as the driver steps into the suit.
Stretch panels are used generously throughout the suit to ensure it easily conforms to the seated racing position or any other situation the driver finds themselves in on raceday. These stretch panels are located along the lower back, as well as the crotch, and inside of the fully floating arms. Both the arms and legs are
pre-curved to make prevent tugging when limbs are only partially extended while seated.
The Atom bootcut suit presents as a classic American racer style with an inner leg cuff securing the bottom of the suit. Up close, the detailed design touches are apparent including the
"shiny" outer layer of Nomex, creating mildly reflective sheen across the suit. Other features include
six fully embroidered logos, heavy duty YKK zippers, and extraction pull handles on the epaulettes.
