I was trying to figure out if your Alpinestar Karting suits are fire retardant ? My husband drives dirt track cars, but likes the design of one of your karting suits, so I was trying to see if would be safe for him or not?

Answer:
Only the has some fire protection with SFI 40.1/1. However, for dirt track racing I'd recommend something with a higher rating- it might even be required by your husbands organization.
Any of the suits here should serve him well: These are both SFI-Rated (fire retardant) and made specifically for auto racing conditions.
