  1. Return Policy

    Simply:
    Returns incur a 15% Restocking Fee.
    Exchanges do not incur a restocking fee, however, re-shipping costs must be paid.

    Important:
    Please do not return an order or refuse a delivery from us before receiving an RMA #.
    This could cause a significant delay in the processing of your refund/exchange.

    Accepted Timeframe:
    To initiate a return or exchange contact us for an RMA # within 14 days of order receipt.
    We must receive your return within 14 days of the date the RMA # was issued.

    Returns:
    A 15% restocking fee will be charged on returns only. This does not apply to exchanges. If you return an item to us, your refund will be the order total less shipping and restocking fees. On orders that receive Free Shipping, the cost of shipping the item to you will be deducted from the refund amount. 

    Exchanges:
    You are responsible for the costs to ship replacement items back out to you. We cannot provide free shipping multiple times on the same order. Once we receive the returned order, you will receive an invoice via e-mail for this shipping cost. An exchange order will not be processed until this is paid.

    Steps to Return/Exchange an Order:
    Step 1:
    Contact us for an RMA #.
    Step 2: Return the items in their original condition, or additional charges may be incurred.
    Step 3: Using the carrier of your choice, ship your return to the address provided to you via e-mail.
    Step 4:
    Provide us with the tracking information.

  2. Shipping Policy

    Delivery Time vs. Shipping Date
    Our order fulfillment system is not designed around shipping dates.
    Instead, we ensure you receive your shipment within the timeframe you select during checkout. A 7-14 day order may be shipped at any time during the 7-14 day period, however, you will receive the item within 7-14 days unless otherwise specified.

    Why Does Next Day Air Show the Arrival in Two Days?
    All orders that are received after 3 pm CST are shipped the following business day.

    If you live near our central location, will you receive your shipment faster?
    Because our system is not based on shipping dates, your distance from our central location does not influence your shipment's arrival date. Even if you order 7-14 Days and live near our central location, you can expect to receive your shipment within the timeframe you selected during checkout. We do this because we ship from locations across the US, and this system allows us to guarantee shipment arrival dates from anywhere in the US.

  3. How is my payment information processed?
    RacingDirect.com uses Google Checkout and PayPal to process transactions. In the interest of security, none of your actual payment information will be entered on our site. Once on the Google Checkout or PayPal site, you will be prompted for your actual payment information. Because we do not have the ability to process payments directly, we can not accept orders over the phone.
